The Road to California – Day 2

Yesterday we started out in Atlanta around 7 am. Mickey D’s for breakfast, leftover Tin Drum for lunch, and about 5 veggie rolls (hot dogs) cooked over the fire for dinner.

The guys (Joel and Abhishek) had Tom’s BBQ in Tennessee, which was featured on the Food Network.

In all, we crossed Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and ended up at Longpool campground in Arkansas. Camp site was decent and we got a good spot.

The night was uneventful but the air was charged with conversation. At times excited, but overall pointless.

The cold air in the morning killed my desire to shower, so I must do it tonight. 13 hours until we reach New Mexico. Should see some interesting terrain on the drive there.
